The "Variables" Tab contain the variable used to optionally identify each message by a unique ID number.
When you assign a value to this variable, only the next Message will be identified with this number.
This variable should be LONG and THREAD.
Note: This variable would normally be in your DCT, unless you are doing a DCT-less app. In this case you'll need to add the variable to the global area of your app.
